Artur Beterbiev is the rightful betting favorite but the odds are way off in our estimation. And part of why they are way off has to do with Browne losing to Jean Pascal. But that was not a natural performance from Pascal who had looked faded years before that and then all of a sudden he is massively rejuvenated against Badou jack and Marcus Browne and he looks better and more powerful than he ever has before. That raised a lot of red flags and ofcourse as we all now he tested positive for several PEDs after that. Pascal on the juice is as a big of challenge as anyone in that division and Browne was outboxing him easy except the rounds he got knocked down. Browne also looked spectacular against Badou jack in a career best performance. Artur Beterbiev is more talented and naturally powerful than anyone Browne has faced before but there has been signs of slowing down on his part perhaps because of his advanced age and long amateur career. He has also been dropped as a professional against a lesser fighter than Browne. Marcus Browne with his length and size will present big problems for Beterbiev in our view. In Beterbievs fight against Gvozdyk, they were fighting on even terms until the end and we believe Browne is more talented than Gvozdyk.
