Anthony Yarde looked very powerful in his last fight against Dec Spelman when he stopped him in 5 rounds. It is obvious that Yarde punches with very good explosiveness and power especially his right hand that he has knocked out many guys with. In his sole career loss against Sergey Kovalev he was being outboxed badly until kovalev faded and Yarde got his tremendous opportunity. He landed a monstrous right hand on Kovalev which had him out on his feet and he came extremely close to stopping Kovalev in the 3rd quarter of the fight. Kovalev had shown stamina issues before that fight and after it. Yarde couldn´t manage to close the show and he himself started fading while Kovalev grew strong again and by the 10th round Yarde looked done. In the 11th round Kovalev landed many clear head shots and Yarde was knocked out cold. When Yarde fought Dec Spelman he was not having a very easy time with him until he hurt him and stopped him. Yarde had trouble with Spelmans jab and he had trouble with Kovalevs jab. Lyndon Arthur happens to have an excellent jab and he has good amateur experience. The bookies seem to believe that Yarde will take care of business quickly in this fight and knock Arthur out who comes in to this fight undefeated at 17-0. ( sign in to view our prediction & pick)
The value here is in Lyndon Arthur who you can find to win a Decision at +900 (10.00 decimal odds). That is very good value considering that these two fighters are evenly matched and if Arthur manages to stay out of the way from Yarde´s right hand he might very well win a decision here and pull of the upset.
