Miguel Berchelt vs. Eleazar Valenzuela

10 rounds, junior lightweights

Miguel Berchelt (37-1) is back in the ring in what best can be described as a stay busy fight when he meets Eleazar Valenzuela (21-13) in a 10-round main event. Berchelt is coming of a tremendous performance in his last fight when he stopped Jason Sosa in 4 rounds. He really displayed a lot of power and variety in that fight. A lot of people had high hopes on Sosa for that fight but he completely took him apart and was giving him such a beating that his corner had to save their man from further punishment. Sosa to his credit, fought back as hard he could and he was himself trying to land something big until the very end of the fight. In the best performance of Valenzuelas career, he went the distance in a losing effort against Jono Carroll. (Sign in for our prediction & pick)

Berchelt is fighting at a very high level and his enourmous output along with power in both hands and a good punch variety will make it practically impossible for Valenzuela to go the distance with him let alone win. It is just to big a difference in quality between these two fighters and when you factor in how Valenzuela looked at the weigh in, which was the look of a fighter not having the right preparation phyhsically for a fight of this caliber, the pick become crystal clear.
