Hughie Fury (23-3) is set to face Pavel Sour (11-2) in a 10 round contest on the undercard of Quigg-Carroll. Fury is a very good technichal boxer with fast hands and feet. His downside is that he doesn´t seem to be punching hard enough to hurt the big boys in the division. When he lost a majority decision to Joseph Parker, his whole team was complaining about the scorecards but we think the win for Parker was fair as he was the one landing the harder shots. Since then he also has losses to Kubrat Pulev and Alexander Povetkin. Fury has beaten some decent guys but never anyone that makes you say wow. His best wins are a past his best Samuel Peter and formerly unbeaten Sam Sexton. But Hughie does have potential when he is at his best. As an amateur he was a world champion as a youth and you can´t reach that level if you aren´t truly talented. If he can develop more physically he might become a real force in the heavyweight division. In the meantime, he has this match-up against Pavel Sour who we have seen previously against Jermaine Franklin where he was dropped twice but lasted the full distance. It is important to note here that he didn´t look to be in any serious trouble although he took some big shots from Franklin. (Sign in for our prediction & pick)
