Ryan Garcia (19-0) faces Francisco Fonseca (25-2-2) for the WBC silver lightweight title. Garcia is coming of his most impressive victory to date when he stopped Romero Duno in the 5th round. Fonseca only has 2 losses and both of them came against high caliber opponents in Tevin Farmer and Gervonta Davis. In his last fight he was held to a draw against unheralded Alex Dilmaghani from the UK. Fonseca does have 25 wins on his resumé but they all have come against poor opposition. Ryan Garcia is being promoted very well by Golden Boy Promotions and he is already very popular and a big draw. If this fight goes the distance it will be difficult for Fonseca to get the nod.
