Anthony Joshua and Andy Ruiz meets in their long anticipated rematch. We have waited to give out this prediction because we wanted to see how the fighters looked during fight week and the weigh in. Joshua looks to very focused and he wants this very badly. He has shed some of his muscles and weight in the hopes that he will be leaner, smoother and faster to be able to deal with Ruiz difficult style. Andy Ruiz himself has had a long time to prepare for this rematch, considerably longer than in their first fight where he took the job with only a month time to get ready. He still managed to get the victory that time. Before the first fight they had in June, Ruiz had been active where he recently had beaten Russian heavyweight Alexander Dimitrenko and stopped him in 5 rounds. Ruiz and the team said that they wanted to come in a little lighter for the rematch but instead he weighed a whopping 283 pounds. That is 15 pounds heavier than what he weighed for their first fight, and people thought he was carrying too much weight already back then. To his credit he seemed to have a very big gas tank and able to throw a lot of punches without fatiguing. Boxing fans and insiders seemed to be split about how the rematch plays out and who wins it and ruiz supporters are quick to point out that historically in immediate rematches the same guy wins in general. Joshua showed a very high degree of professionalism in his loss as he never gave excuses, took responsibility for the loss and has regrouped and prepared really well for Ruiz this time around
Joshua is mentally ready to take on Andy Ruiz and win his belts back. He knows that his career and reputation is on the line in this fight and it is not about money, which he has plenty of already. He will dominate this fight from the outside and just as he was able to get to Ruiz the first time, he will find him again and hurt him. This time he will be more clever when he gets his guy hurt and not rush in to anything. Joshua stops Ruiz in the rematch for a price of even money is the best play.
