Zolani Tete (28-3) with 21 knockouts is back in the ring this Saturday after almost a year off due to an injury. He was expected to reach at least the final stages of the World Boxing Super Series bantamweight tournament when he suddenly had to withdraw. He had one fight in the tournament when he fought former amateur stand-out from Russia Micha Aloian and he beat him comfortably on points. His opponent this Saturday is John Riel Casimero from the Philippines. Casimero has a record of 28-4 and has only been stopped once before. He has faced many journeymen level fighters and he has taken care of business most of the time. It is difficult to find a name on Casimero´s record that you would call a quality fighter and he certainly has never faced anyone as good as Tete.
Tete is one of the best bantamweights in the World today and you would have to give him a good shot no matter who he is facing in the division. He is big and strong, has good fundamentals and he punches hard. Casimero is very limited in comparison to Tete and he has never tasted power as good as Tete´s. The price for a Tete stoppage is very good at +187 (2.87 decimal odds) and even the moneyline for Tete at-275 (1.36 decimal odds) is very lucrative and worth a big play.
