Brian Castano vs. Wale Omotoso

10 rounds, junior middleweights

Brian Castano did really well in his fight against Erislandy Lara. The fight was fought on even terms and ended in a disputed draw. Many people felt that Castano had done enough to earn a decision. His best attribut is the amount of punches that he can throw with high intensity without fading. He has an incredible engine and can go 12 hard rounds easily. Castano is also very technical and has a deep amateur background. His opponent Wale Omotoso is definetely on the decline and he has lost a lot of speed. He wasn’t really that fast to begin with but now he really looks slow. But he is a real tough fighter. He is big and strong and he can punch. To stop him has been almost impossible so far due to his granite chin. Nobody has yet been able to do it.

Castano at 30 years old, is right in his prime and he is just too good for Omotoso at this stage of their careers. Castano will set his usual high pace that Omotoso in no way can match. It is very possible that Castano wears his opponent out and gets the stoppage between 7-10. The odds for a stoppage win for Brian Castano are +350 (4.50 decimal odds) which is very good value. Either way we see Castano winning every single round as long as the fight lasts.
