Josh Warrington is making the 3rd defense of his IBF featherweight title against frenchmen Soufiane Takoucht. Warrington has really been improving over the last few years and he has put in some impressive performances. Takoucht is a decent contender but clearly a step below Warrington´s last three opponents: Lee Selby, Carl Frampton and Kid Galahad. Takoucht to his credit seems determined to win and you got the feeling at the weigh in that he really believes he can do it. Takoucht is fairly experienced with 39 fights where he has won 35 of them.
Takoucht has losses to fighters that you wouldn´t call elite fighters in Alexander Miskirtchian and Guillame Frenois and those are about the only opponents he has faced that is any good. After his last loss in 2014 he has gone back to facing mostly journeymen, none of which will have helped him prepare for Warrington who will be too much for him. The Pick is Josh Warrington to win
