Ivan Baranchyk is very strong fighter physically for the 140 pound divison. He was very impressive in the WBSS tournament where he beat previously unbeaten Anthony Yigit in one of the best fights of the year. He then lost a close fight to Josh Taylor, who just might be the best in the division along with Regis Prograis and Jose Ramirez. He gave Taylor a good run for his money and made it very tough on him. This is his first fight coming back and he faces Gabriel Bracero who normally fights at welterweight. Bracero has been inactive for long stretches of his career due to issues outside the ring. Bracero has 3 losses that has come against Paulie Malignaggi, Felix Diaz and DeMarcus Corley but he has never been stopped.
Baranchyk is in his prime and has improved a whole lot. The experience he got against Josh Taylor will prove very valuable to him. Bracero has some good wins on his resume but several years has past since then and he is now 38 years old. Baranchyk will handle Bracero with ease and if Bracero´s preparation hasn´t been a 100%, he will get stopped for the first time. Either way, Ivan Baranchyk is the Pick to win this fight.
