Jaime Munguia vs. Patrick Allotey
Jamie Munguia is fighting Patrick Allotey for his WBO super welterweight title. Munguia first become known when he crushed Sadam Ali in a big upset last year and since then he has been up and down with his performances. In his last fight against Dennis Hogan he seems to have been lucky with the scorecards. Allotey 40-3 with 30 knockouts is limited technically but he has a very big punch with his right hand. He has scored many highlight reel knockouts with it.
Allotey does have power but his limitations in skills can not be overlooked here. Munguia is much bigger and stronger and punches hard himself. Even if Allotey was able to make it competitive and it goes the distance, Munguia is the clear A-side and the judges will like his work. The Pick is Jamie Munguia to win.
