Gervonta Davis is one of the hardest puncher in the sport pound-for-pound. He has been very impressive since his amateur days and climbed the rankings quickly in the pro´s. The first time the general public really took notice of him was when he made quick work of Jose Pedraza in a fight he came in as a 3 to 1 underdog. The bookies knew that he was good but they liked the experience of Pedraza who had looked very good himself being the world champion but he was no match for Davis who stopped him in 7 rounds. Since then he has beaten 4 quality opponents and stopped them all. They just can’t seem to deal with his speed and explosiveness. Besides all that he has a very good way of delivering his shots with great timing. His opponent Ricardo Nunez is a decent fighter with a record of 21 wins and 2 losses. He is on a good winning streak with 10 straight victories dating back to 2015, so he will come in to this confident. What is more impressive is that he has won 9 of those fights by stoppage so we know that he can punch although the opposition hasn’t been very good
