Kal Yafai is making the fifth defense of his WBA super flyweight title he won in 2016. He has been improving in his last few fights and he is a very good fighter. He is facing Norbelto Jimenez (29-8) who started his career in the worst possible way with him losing 8 out of his first 10 fights. Since then he has gone almost 7 years with no losses and that is very impressive for a fighter with that kind of start. Jimenez has beaten some decent fighters and he has a draw against Kohei Kono, the former world champion.
Although Jimenez has been on an impressive run, considering his terrible start, it is difficult to see him winning this fight against Kal Yafai who is a very accomplished fighter. Yafai will dictate the pace with his jab and find many oppurtunitys for his straight right hand. Jimenez might make it to hear the final bell because he has proven how resistant he is and the will power that he has. The Pick is Kal Yafai to win this bout.
