Joseph Parker is an outstanding heavyweight with a record of 25 wins with only 2 losses that came against Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte. When he fought Anthony Joshua he lost a decision in a fight where he simply didn’t throw or commit enough in the punches. The same thing happened against Dillian Whyte where he was hurt and knocked down for the first time in his career. To his credit, he did finish the fight strong and had Whyte and deep trouble in the last round but it was too late. He should have started earlier. Here he is fighting Alex Leapai who is a veteran with 43 fights under his belt. Leapai even in his best days, never beat what you would call a good high level fighter. His most notable career fight was against Wladimir Klitscko in 2014 where he was stopped violently. Now he is soon to be 40 years old and you wonder how much left in the tank he has.
In this stage of Leapai´s career he will not be able to offer much resistance to Parker. Joseph Parker is without a doubt a top 10 heavyweight and he does have power in his right hand. Leapai has never went the full 12 rounds and we don’t think he will be able to do it here against Parker. The Pick is Joseph Parker to win by ko/tko
